SITWEI launches 50 million pixel 0.7 μ m mobile application CMOS image sensor

Post on Jan 01,1970

On September 11, 2025, Shanghai, China - SITWEI (Shanghai) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: SITWEI, stock code: 688213) recently announced the launch of the new 50 megapixel 0.7 μ m pixel size mobile application CMOS image sensor - SC535XS. The SC535XS is built on the advanced SmartClarity SL Pro technology platform from SITWEI, using a 28+nm Stack advanced process technology and equipped with multiple advantageous technologies such as SITWEI's patented PixGain HDR, SFC Pixel SL, and AllPix ADAF. It has multiple performance advantages such as high dynamic range, low noise, fast focusing, and ultra-low power consumption. As a national high-end flagship mobile phone auxiliary camera application CMOS image sensor, SC535XS has significant improvements in multiple image dimensions, supporting high frame rate and high dynamic range video shooting. It will bring a new high-quality video shooting experience to high-end flagship mobile phone telephoto cameras, wide-angle cameras and other auxiliary cameras, comprehensively enhancing the comprehensive imaging strength of mobile phones

High frame rate and high dynamic range video, with a significant improvement in the texture of auxiliary camera videos

The SC535XS is equipped with Siwei's patented PixGain HDR technology, with a maximum dynamic range of about 80dB, which can bring a high dynamic video texture of vivid light and shadow to flagship smartphones' auxiliary cameras, making bright areas less exposed and dark areas clearer. Moreover, based on PixGain HDR on-chip dual frame fusion technology, SC535XS can effectively suppress the generation of motion artifacts while ensuring high dynamic range. Therefore, when shooting moving objects, the SC535XS can help the phone camera achieve clear, delicate, natural and vivid high-quality video effects without motion trailing.

In addition, the SC535XS supports 4K 60fps high dynamic and high frame rate video shooting in PixGain HDR mode, as well as 4K 120fps ultra-high frame rate video shooting in normal mode, providing more frame rate redundancy for professional video creation and significantly improving the quality of flagship smartphone assisted video shooting.

Low noise and high sensitivity, making night scenes easy to produce

Sensitivity and noise are key factors affecting the night scene shooting effect of mobile phones. Thanks to Siwei's advanced SFC Pixel SL technology, the SC535XS achieves higher sensitivity and lower noise, with a sensitivity of up to 1904mV/lux * s and a read noise of less than 1 e -, significantly reducing it by about 46% compared to its peers in the industry.

Excellent high sensitivity and low noise performance will significantly enhance the image capturing quality of mobile phone cameras in low light environments such as night scenes, evenings, and cloudy days, bringing clear details and high-quality night scene shooting effects to flagship smartphone auxiliary cameras.

Dual mode quick focus, high-speed and clear capture

The SC535XS is equipped with Skyworth AllPix ADAF and Sparse PDAF technologies, with two fast focusing modes that can be freely switched according to different application scenarios, ensuring high-speed and accurate focusing effects under different lighting conditions while optimizing power consumption. In low light scenes such as night, evening, and cloudy days, the SC535XS can use AllPix ADAF mode to achieve high-speed, clear, and stable autofocus in low light environments through 100% full pixel focusing. Under normal lighting conditions, the SC535XS can use Sparse PDAF mode to achieve 6% partial phase focusing, effectively reducing the power consumption of the phone camera while ensuring fast and accurate focusing.
