Cadence expands its digital twin platform library with the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD model, accelerating the deployment and operation of AI data centers

Post on Jan 01,1970

Shanghai, China, September 15, 2025- Cadence Technologies (NASDAQ: CDNS) recently announced that the Cadence RealityTM Digital Twin Platform has achieved significant library expansion using the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD digital twin system equipped with the DGX GB200 system. With the new model of NVIDIA's high-performance acceleration computing platform, data center designers and operators will be able to easily deploy world leading AI accelerators in the construction of AI factories. As an innovative solution, Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform is capable of high-precision modeling of AI factories and data centers based on specific service level agreements before physical implementation, accurately assessing the impact of constraints such as cost, space, energy, cooling, and environment.

Michael Jackson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Systems Design and Analysis Division at Cadence, said, "With the rapid development of AI technology, it is necessary to be confident that one can utilize target devices and utilities to meet design requirements. After introducing NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD equipped with DGX GB200 system into the Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform library, designers can conduct high-precision simulations of the world's leading acceleration systems, thereby shortening the design cycle of key projects and improving decision accuracy. ”

Tim Costa, General Manager of Industrial and Computing Engineering at NVIDIA, stated that building a DGX SuperPOD digital twin based on the DGX GB200 system is an important step in accelerating the deployment of AI factories in this ecosystem. As the pace of innovation continues to accelerate and service cycles continue to shorten, our ongoing collaboration with Cadence can meet this critical need. ”

The Cadence Reality Digital Twin platform allows designers to drag and drop digital models provided by suppliers that are functionally equivalent to physical entities into their data center digital twins, creating high fidelity data center digital twin models. With the help of these advanced digital models, engineers can design entire data centers and campuses with high precision to meet specific power consumption, space, cooling, and performance requirements. Users can explore various fault and upgrade scenarios with just a few clicks of the mouse. After these data centers are put into operation, the Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform can track and maintain its optimal performance throughout its entire lifecycle.

Introducing NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX GB200 system into the intelligent component library is part of Cadence's ongoing collaboration with NVIDIA. Earlier this year, two companies announced that the Cadence Reality Digital Twin Platform supports NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint for AI factory design and operation. To optimize data centers and AI factories, Cadence and NVIDIA are expanding the Cadence Reality data center digital ecosystem to ensure it always meets the latest design and operational needs of engineers.
