On August 20, 2025, Da Da Da Lian Holdings, an internationally leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia Pacific market, announced that its subsidiary Youshang has launched a 360W power supply solution based on the onsemi NCP1618 PFC controller, NCP13994 LLC controller, and NCP4318 synchronous rectification controller.

Currently, the core driving force of the power supply market is accelerating its shift from traditional fields such as household appliances and industrial robots to the cutting-edge track of electric vehicles. In this process, improving the power density of power modules has become a key focus of the industry. In the future, the integration of resources based on inverters and the innovative development of power integrated circuits will inject strong impetus into the green and digital transformation of the power industry. In this context, Da Da Da Da You Shang has launched a 360W power supply solution based on onsemi NCP1618 PFC controller, NCP13994 LLC controller, and NCP4318 synchronous rectification controller, which can significantly improve the efficiency of the power supply and reduce costs, perfectly meeting the market's demand for high-efficiency and cost-effective power supplies.

The NCP1618 PFC controller provides three modes of operation, including discontinuous mode, boundary mode, and continuous mode, to ensure that the power supply can achieve optimal efficiency under different load conditions. In addition, the pfc OK pin provided by NCP1618 has the function of communicating with lower level circuits, which can be used to control the ON/OFF of lower level circuits. NCP1618 also provides Soft Skip function, allowing it to operate under extremely light loads, resulting in excellent low-power performance.
NCP13994 is an enhanced high-performance current mode controller for half bridge resonant converters. This controller integrates a 700V rated high voltage starting current source, x2 capacitor discharge function, and gate driver, which can simplify the layout and reduce the number of external components. And NCP13994 has a dedicated output that can control the PFC controller to operate or deactivate in applications that require PFC front-end, in order to improve no-load efficiency. In addition, the product provides a set of protective functions that can be safely operated in any application.
NCP4318 is a hybrid mode synchronous rectification (SR) controller for LLC resonant converters, which utilizes instantaneous drain voltage and previous dead time information to operate stably with only a small number of external devices. Meanwhile, the adaptive dead time control of the controller can compensate for the induced parasitic inductance voltage, thereby maximizing the conductivity and efficiency of the SR MOSFET. In addition, the multi-step shutdown threshold control and SR current reversal detection function can prevent the occurrence of reversal current during rapid load transients, thereby ensuring reliable operation of SR throughout the entire load range.
